Late Sri Dr. JAGNARAYAN SINGH was the founder of the Sumitra Mahila College, Dumraon. He took it as a challange and he has established a girls degree college in 1984 at dumraon in the memory of his mother Smt. Sumitra Devi and the college was named as ''Sumitra Mahila College, Dumraon"
